On the bank of the Red river situated a seven-century old pottery village named Bat Trang. In the old days, artists from the village garnished royal places with their skillful craftsmanship. Nowadays, Bat Trang is still one of the most famous names in producing quality ceramics and artists have worked hard to preserve the art of making sophisticated, masterful pottery by hand.
