Hue-Phong Nha-DMZ
Phong Nha National Park includes limestone plateaus and rainforests. It has a great geological diversity and offers spectacular phenomena, as well as a large number of underground caves and rivers. This area has a high level of biodiversity and many endemic species. This short tour also takes you to visit the Demilitarized Zone of Vietnam (DMZ), which is a witness of the division between North and South Vietnam from 1954 to 1975.
Day 1 : Hue- Phong Nha – Dong Hoi

Transfer by car on the Ho Chi Minh trail to reach Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park. This site features a landscape of karst plateaus and tropical forests, which is very geologically diverse and offers spectacular phenomena, including numerous caves and underground rivers. It hosts a high level of biodiversity and many endemic species. The extension ensures a more intact ecosystem by providing additional protection to the watersheds vital to the integrity of karst landscapes. Cruise along the Son River to visit Phong Nha Cave (the most famous in the national park). Overnight at your hotel.

In the morning, walking tour of the recently discovered extraordinary Thien Duong cave. You will have the chance to see one of the largest and most impressive accessible caves in the region, you will see the grand entrance of this cave after climbing 524 steps. Descend into the cave on a wooden walkway, designed to protect and preserve the fragile rock formations. This walk continues for 1km through the huge well-lit cave.
In the afternoon, excursion to the botanical garden to discover the fauna and flora of the national park. Overnight in the hotel.
B Hotel
Transfer by car to the DMZ (demilitarized zone) to visit the Vinh Moc tunnel. Your guide will explain the history of the Vietnam War between 1954 and 1975. Take National Route 49 to follow the coast. Stop in Cưa Viet to visit historical sites: Hien Luong Bridge and Ben Hai River, then transfer to Hue – the ancient capital of Vietnam.
